The School of IT is proud of Distinguished Emeritus Prof Rossouw von Solms, for his recent achievements. Firtsly, Prof von Solms has recently been re-evaluated and rated as an NRF B2 researcher. He has now been rated for six cycles in a row of which the last four cycles were as a B researcher.
Prof von Solms has also been informed that a paper he co-authored with Karen Renaud and Basie von Solms, which was published in the Journal of Intellectual Capital in 2019, has won an Emerald Literati Award. This achievement was a pleasant surprise, as he won a Literati Award for Excellence in 1999. Well done Prof von Solms!
