The School of Information and Communication Technology as well as the Computing Sciences Department cordially hosts parents/guardians to attend the Meet and Greet function.
The aim of this function is to introduce pupils attending high school to different study and
career opportunities in Computing Sciences & Information Technology.

We realise that choosing a career can be a difficult task. With so many qualifications to choose from and so many institutions out there, many grade eleven and twelve learners often feel overwhelmed with all the options available.
Learners who are interested in Information Technology / Computing, were welcomed to attend the Information Technology and Computing Sciences Careers Evening where representatives from the Department of Computing Sciences, as well as the School of ICT, did presentations and informed learners of the differences between the two IT spheres.

Our additional guest was Mr Riekert du Preez. A business analyst who holds an MBA from the Nelson Mandela University Business School as well as an MTech: IT. Riekert is responsible for understanding how the business objectives of our clients can be achieved through the use of technology. As an internationally recognised developer, Riekert has presented at numerous conferences on the how technology can be used to effectively solve unique business problems.
